Hull-based food supplier Turner Price saw sales rise last year, in what was a strong period for the family business.
The firm, which has been serving restaurants, hotels, schools and hospitals across the country since 1992, hit turnover of £62.9m in the 2018/19 year – up from £60.8m the previous year.
Turner Price delivers to over 2,500 trading customers across the 海角视频, and has grown its catalogue of food products to more than 5,000.
The business also recently held its major food and drink show in Hull. Attracting around 100 exhibitors from producers and suppliers across the 海角视频, it was the largest event ever hosted by Turner Price.
Directors said in recently-filed accounts: “The company has continued to grow its core business operations year on year.
“This growth has helped the company remain profitable and maintain liquidity…the directors consider the position of the company at the year-end to be positive.”
Turner Price recorded pre-tax profits of £2.4m in the last financial year – down slightly from £2.5m in 2017/18.
Gross profits rose to £10.7m, as the business struck new deals with customers.

Earlier this year, Turner Price began working with Dublin-based homemade cake provider Broderick Brothers.
The Irish firm brought some of its products to the Food & Drink Show at Hull’s Bonus Arena in September, and said its partnership with Turner Price had started strongly.
Ciara McCormack, from Broderick Brothers, said: “We were recommended to Turner Price by another country range company, and came to present to them in Hull, and they then picked us up as a new customer.
“It’s a great opportunity to get people to taste our products, and get the brand name out to new people.
“We are focused mainly at the coffee shop and garden centre market, because the cakes look so homemade.”
Turner Price supplies fresh, chilled and frozen products to restaurants, hotels, pubs, schools, hospitals and care homes.
It also supplies seasonal hampers and gifts, and runs a ship supplies division.

At the time of filing its accounts, Turner Price employed over 280 people.
Turner Price’s XL Food & Drink Show, which took place at the Bonus Arena in September, featured big names including Young’s Seafood, Unilever, Whitby Seafoods and Harrogate Spring Water.
Around 100 exhibitors packed out the venue in the centre of Hull, giving trades professionals and industry experts the chance to meet new businesses and pick up orders.
