A pulp packaging specialist is looking for a third site to meet continued rising demand.

A ninth production line would open up more employment opportunities for Omni-Pac, the rebranded Moulded Fibre Products business that has grown from start-up in North Lincolnshire, to become part of an international merger late last year.

It currently occupies two large units on the Flixborough industrial Estate, and is keen to secure another site close to the location.

Flixborough site production manager, Mostafa Shata, said: “We currently employ 100 staff, along with about 50 agency workers and the outlook for our Flixborough operations is excellent.

“We are currently very busy and we need to find a further site locally where we can install our ninth production line.”

The company operates a 24-hour operation in the week, with 12-hour shifts at the weekend, underlining the near-capacity level.

Typically, four million items come off the production lines every week. The majority are treatment and care containers for the medical sector – with many products delivered directly to the NHS.
