Somerset manufacturing firm Offsite Solutions has continued a recent run of million-pound deals by winning a contract to supply ready-assembled bathroom units to one of the º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s largest build-to-rent development schemes.

The Highbridge-based company will provide nearly 1,000 bathroom pods for the £670m Cherry Park project in London, which is being developed by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW).

The residential-led scheme, located next to the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre, is set to create around 1,200 new homes for rent in 11 buildings, including three residential towers and courtyard mansion blocks up to 11 storeys.

The mixed-use development is part of a wider planned transformation of Stratford town centre and the London 2012 Olympic Village into a build-to-rent location.

Offsite Solutions will manufacture a total of 991 steel-framed bathroom pods at its factory on the Isleport Business Park in Highbridge in two phases, which will run concurrently.

The deal is the latest in a string of contracts that the firm has secured this year. In April it was awarded a £1.6m contract to supply 327 steel-framed ready assembled bathrooms for a new housing development in the centre of Milton Keynes.

In May the company announced it has supplied more than 1,400 shower pods in contracts worth over £3m for three student housing schemes.

Towards the end of last year it also made 136 pods for the £11.8m Ibis Plaza Hotel at Woodlands Court Business Park in Bridgwater, Somerset.
