Princess Yachts to debut vessels at return of Düsseldorf boat show

Plymouth manufacturer plans to showcase six vessels at huge German trade event which will be back in 2022 after a Covid cancellation in 2021

Princess Yachts' X95 and X80 will both be on display at Boot Düsseldorf in 2022

º£½ÇÊÓƵ boat maker Princess Yachts will give two vessels their global debut when Germany’s money-spinning Düsseldorf boat show returns following a Covid hiatus.

The Plymouth-based manufacturer will launch the Princess X80 and the all-new V50 at Boot Düsseldorf. It will also give show debuts to the Princess X95 and Y72, while the Princess F55 and V55 will make up the six-yacht display at stand 6B21 from January 22 to 30, 2022.

Boot was cancelled in 2021 because of the Covid but now organizers expect more than 1,500 exhibitors from at least 50 countries, filling 17 exhibition halls and 220,000sq m of exhibition space.

The trade event, organised by Messe Düsseldorf, has been a money-spinning success for Princess Yachts in the past. It took orders for , and, and in 2020 said it enjoyed “unprecedented stand visitor numbers and levels of sales”.

Visitors to the 2022 show will see the two yachts from Princess’s new Superfly X Class range, the X80 and X95.

Featuring an extended flybridge that provides 30% more indoor space than a traditional motor yacht, the X80 is the smaller sister ship to the award-winning X95.

The X80 includes an enclosed bridge and Skylounge on the upper deck, and an optional master stateroom forward on the main deck.

Working together with naval architecture firm Olesinski and design company Pininfarina, Princess has created what it calls “the ultimate in avant-garde yacht construction with an evolved design meant for extended time at sea”.
