Plymouth marine engineering firm AllBoat Services is expanding, taking on new workers and promoting Lloyd Rees to operations manager.
ABS, which has been providing engineering services alongside technical products to boat owners during the past three decades, has created of two new jobs because since moving into its new purpose-built waterfront premises within the commercial district of Cattedown in the summer of 2018, business has gone 鈥渇rom strength to strength鈥.
ABS has been able to include several new dealership appointments for Dockmate, Halyard, Marsili and H&B Technics as well as the continuation of its Sleipner Side-Power dealership.
Mr Rees, aged 33, has worked for ABS for six years and will now manage a team of four mobile marine engineers, including the two new recruits.
Together they will be responsible for carrying out new installations, retrofits, refurbs, servicing and repairs on boats located in marinas, boatyards and driveways across the country.

Mr Rees鈥 aim will be to take the business forward even further and deliver its products, service support and engineering expertise 24/7 to customers nationwide.
鈥淚鈥檝e always loved living and working in Plymouth and it鈥檚 been a huge bonus to develop my career within such a progressive, friendly and family orientated business which has such a great future ahead of it,鈥 said Mr Rees who began his career as a marine engineer in the Royal Navy before he made the permanent move to Plymouth in 2006.

Following a period of substantial growth, roles have been restructured within ABS to maximise opportunity and Mr Ainsworth has assumed the position of business development manager.
He will be now be responsible for supporting Mr Rees in the delivery of a professional, flexible and customer-orientated service, developing the core areas of the business where the team has the greatest strengths, reinforcing corporate identity and establishing ABS as a benchmark for success.
In 2018, ABS moved from rented space at Plymouth Yacht Haven to its own bespoke headquarters at Apollo Court, opposite the TR2 in Neptune Park, Cattedownl.
The change in address was reflective of a move by ABS to a more flexible, customer-orientated approach, widening its customer base and extending its geographical reach.
A fleet of new mobile workshop vehicles was brought in to provide professional care and engineering repair at any dockside, marina, boatyard or driveway across the 海角视频.
ABS also launched its first e-commerce website to equip the public and trade with the electric and electronic marine products.
