A cleaning chemicals firm based in north Derbyshire has appointed a new managing director.

Neil Jones has taken a dual role, which will see him oversee operations at High Peak cleaning chemicals manufacturer Clover Chemicals and Warrington-based Christeyns Food Hygiene.

Mr Jones previously had leadership roles with Unilever, Robert McBride and R&R. As managing director, Neil, who is originally from Norfolk, will be responsible for delivering the business strategy for both companies.

His time will be split between the two firms and he will sit on the main board of Christeyns º£½ÇÊÓƵ, whose headquarters are in Bradford.

He said: "Clover Chemicals is a unique business with a strong customer service ethos that has gained credibility and respect over the 20 years it has been in operation.

"I am delighted to take on the challenge of continuing the prosperity of this very interesting business and to lead the next chapter in its growth and development."

Neil gained a Bachelor of Science degree at Loughborough University and has an extensive background in commercial management.
