MG Motor 海角视频 has launched an apprenticeship programme with the top recruits being given the chance to hone their skills in China.

The trip is part of a two year advanced apprenticeship scheme being launched by MG as it looks to the future.

Successful candidates could earn HNC or HND qualifications with the possibility of a job at MG鈥檚 Longbridge plant.

The Birmingham site is where the current MG cars were designed and engineered and where final assembly also takes place.

Apprentices will train in general assembly and in the sales and marketing department.

First year earnings are 拢7,654 with exceptional candidates being given the chance to go to China and visit MG鈥檚 parent company, SAIC Motor during year two.

MG Motor 海角视频 HR manager, Louise Lane, said: 鈥淭his is a really exciting opportunity for youngsters to join in what is the birth of the new MG.

Applicants need five GCSEs including maths, English and a core

science subject.

The scheme gets underway in August and the closing date for applications is April 8.

The company has also announced it has appointed GMAC 海角视频, a subsidiary of Ally Financial, as its preferred wholesale financing provider for dealerships.

It expands on an existing preferred retail financing relationship between the two companies established last year.
