A company which manufactures storage tanks is to relocate production from Derbyshire to an all-new site in Nottinghamshire.

CST Industries has agreed to take a bespoke production and office unit of just under 25,000 sq ft at Castlewood Business Park, close to Junction 28 of the M1 in Nottinghamshire.

The unit is currently under construction and the firm will relocate from its current site in Alfreton once the new building is handed over towards the end of this year.

The company behind Castlewood is Clowes Developments, which is based at Ednaston, near Ashbourne.

James Richards, development director at Clowes, said: “This is a major new deal that brings a world-leading operator in its market to Castlewood.

“This is just one of a series of next generation units we are bringing to the business park and look forward to working with CST Industries both now and in the future.

“We firmly believe that demand for best-in-class distribution, logistics, production and manufacturing units in the best locations will remain buoyant during the current year and into 2021.

“When the economy bounces back, we want to ensure we have the right units available to fulfil the needs of companies like CST Industries and other blue-chip businesses looking for the very best locations.”
