Leicestershire LED specialist helps light up Sheikh Abdullah Palace in the Middle East

Leicestershire firm won brief to provide an all-in-one lighting effect within the palace’s leisure facility

The pool was also included in the brief

Leicestershire lighting specialist Ventola Projects has completed another high-profile project in the Middle East – at the Sheikh Abdullah Palace in Doha.

LED specialist Mick Ventola said business had been booming since he first supplied and installed lighting to the Royal Palace of Sheikh Al Thani back in 2016.

He said the Anstey company’s reputation for using the best products and providing a good service had contributed to his latest royal commission.

The lighting business has grown substantially in recent years, signing deals with suppliers in the United States, working on royal palaces in the Middle East, and installing a new interactive projection system at the home of a Kuwaiti sheikh.

Ventola’s main product is the VAvR range, a multi-function LED system that can switch from general lighting to colour changing mood lighting or UV glow effects.

The products are computer-controlled and low voltage, so are quick and cheap to install.

Ventola Projects helped light up the games room at the UAE palace

Projects range from a couple of thousand pounds to £30,000-£40,000.

The UAE deal was secured via Ventola’s Egyptian distributor, with a brief to provide an all-in-one lighting effect within the palace’s leisure facility – using white lighting, UV and colour-changing effects to create the right mood.
