Leicester LED specialist Ventola Projects adds sparkle to £1m Cheshire Oaks Bowling centre refit

Lighting firm has worked on Middle East palaces, and installed new projection system at the home of a Kuwaiti sheikh

Ventola Projects installed LED lights at Cheshire Oaks Bowling

An LED lighting specialist has completed a major installation as part of a bowling centre’s £1 million relaunch.

Ventola Projects, which is based in Anstey, near Leicester, carried out the work at Cheshire Oaks Bowling, near Ellesmere Port, in Cheshire.

The lighting business has grown substantially in recent years, signing deals with suppliers in the United States, working on royal palaces in the Middle East, and installing a new interactive projection system at the home of a Kuwaiti sheikh.

Ventola’s main product is the VAvR range, a multi-function LED system that can switch from general lighting to colour changing mood lighting or UV glow effects.

The products are computer-controlled and low voltage, so are quick and cheap to install.

Projects range from a couple of thousand pounds to £30,000-£40,000.

Let there be light - Mick Ventola

Managing director Mick Ventola and his team helped Cheshire Oaks Bowling redesign its lighting with more vibrant colours, which can be controlled centrally or by area, either via a main control panel, from an app or from another PC in the building.

The project was completed in three weeks and included the installation of lighting across the bar, restaurant, seating area and ten pin bowling alley.
