Jaguar's design director named as new LinkedIn Influencer

Ian Callum, Jaguar's design director who has been named as a LinkedIn Influencer

Jaguar's design director Ian Callum has joined an elite list of global figures such as President Obama and Sir Richard Branson by becoming a LinkedIn Influencer.

The Whitley-based director will post thought leadership pieces on the business networking website to its 300 million global members.

Mr Callum is responsible for the design of the current range of Jaguar sports and luxury cars including the new F-Type.

His first LinkedIn Influencer post is called 'Why the most successful companies embrace design' and discusses the importance of design for all product-led businesses in order to appeal to targeted audiences.

He said: "It is an honour to be invited to contribute as an Influencer on LinkedIn.

"It is exciting to be in such exceptional company as the likes of Richard Branson and President Barack Obama.

"I always try to learn from those around me and I look forward to sharing my own experiences and insights with a diverse audience.

"Hopefully, this will be the start of a new stage of learning and collaborating."
