Growth for Sygnet Fabrications following acquisition by Birmingham sign contractor Hollywood Monster

New owners are revitalising the company's operations and processes and investing in local talent and apprenticeships

Sygnet Fabrications is part of Hollywood Monster

Management at Sygnet Fabrications in Leicester have announced growth plans following its acquisition by Birmingham-based print and signage business Hollywood Monster.

Back in May the new owners said the acquisition meant the entire 25-strong workforce at Sygnet had been retained – and that the combined business had 65 employees and a turnover of £12 million, with the capability to print more than 160,000 sq ft of “high-quality, sustainable signage per day”.

The owners are now revitalising the company's operations, processes, and offerings and investing in local talent and apprenticeships to secure its future as a sign manufacturer. There has also been a rebrand.

A spokesman said: “As part of the new era of development, Sygnet Fabrications has pledged a commitment to ensuring the continued development of skilled sign manufacturers for generations to come.

“It is proud to announce its initiative to nurture local talent and contribute to the industry's growth by offering two engineering and sign manufacturing apprenticeships.

“These apprenticeships will provide aspiring young individuals with a unique opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals while pursuing their studies at college.”

Sygnet Fabrications is also seeking people to join its team in positions such as built-up letter technicians, fabricators, project design managers and sales professionals.

Tim Andrews, chairman at Sygnet Fabrications and Hollywood Monster, is overseeing the new developments following the acquisition.
