AIM-listed training technology company Pennant International Group has signed a strategic partnership agreement.
The Gloucestershire business, which specialises in training technology for aviation industry has secured a deal with Oxford-based Aquila Learning Limited.
Aquila is a developer of innovative technologies and services for complex training needs. Bosses at IPS software and services company, Pennant, said the partnership will see the companies collaborate on a number of projects, including the integration of the ALaRMS (Aquila Learning and Requirements/Resource/Record) Management System into Pennant's IPS software suite (GenS, Analyzer and R4i).
Aquila already has established capabilities within defence organisations and OEMs in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ and overseas. The new partnership agreement will provide users with additional capabilities and functionality, including an end-to-end S-Series software toolkit.
Phil Walker, Pennant chief executive said: "We are excited to be working with the Aquila team to broaden our S-Suite coverage and extend the software solution with Aquila's market-leading S6000T product suite.
"The integration will generate additional synergies within both product and customer base, leveraging Pennant's 65-year track record and international reputation for providing leading-edge software, services and training solutions in support of Aquilla's continued development."
Pennant reported "positive trading momentum" in its latest results for the first half of the year.
It reported on July 18 that revenues for the first half of the year were at £7.1m compared to £6.9m in the same period last year.
Bosses at the IPS software and services company said 46% of revenues were generated from software licensing and associated activities.
