Global lubricant manufacturer FUCHS has revealed plans for further investment at its º£½ÇÊÓƵ headquarters – after spending in excess of £12 million at the site in the last five years.

Recent major investments at the Stoke-on-Trent plant include the installation of more than 2,000 roof-mounted solar panels and the opening of a new, state-of-the-art head office in 2017.

At the same time, new automated machinery, energy-efficient lighting and IT infrastructure has been installed at FUCHS’ Hanley base.

FUCHS º£½ÇÊÓƵ has also introduced robotic arms at its º£½ÇÊÓƵ plant.

Now the German-owned firm has pledged to invest millions of pounds into its º£½ÇÊÓƵ operation – to secure its future success in the light of Brexit.

Throughout 2019, FUCHS º£½ÇÊÓƵ plans to make improvements to all areas of the plant – including manufacturing, R&D, technical processes and logistics.

A new on-site raw materials warehouse is also planned as part of a £10 million cash injection.

The new 4,000-pallet building – which is expected to be up and running by mid 2020 – will allow the firm to significantly increase its capacity for raw materials and enable the existing building to become a specialist packaging warehouse.
