Two former managers at collapsed Lincolnshire firm Clugston have joined the team at Hessle-based PDR Construction.
Debbie Atkinson and Nick Todd both formerly worked at Clugston, which plunged into administration in December with over 250 jobs lost.
The duo have now been appointed at East Yorkshire firm PDR Construction, at a time when the business has enjoyed continued growth and won major contracts.
Ms Atkinson said of the move to PDR: “I am excited to join PDR at a time when they are growing and investing in their people and processes.
“The Company seems very impressive and I look forward to being part of it.”
Ms Atkinson has joined PDR Construction as its new business development manager.
She will assist the board of directors in planning and identifying opportunities within PDR’s specialist sectors, including commercial, retail, leisure and automotive.
Ms Atkinson is joined at PDR by fellow new recruit Nick Todd.

Mr Todd has joined the East Yorkshire company as its new senior contracts manager, and will help strengthen PDR’s construction delivery function.
His appointment comes at a time where PDR is seeing continued growth with the winning of major contracts.
In Hull, PDR is currently working on Arco’s new £16m headquarters in the Fruit Market area of the city.
PDR was also the company which built Lister Group’s new £8m Porsche dealership at Hessle’s Bridgehead Business Park.
Speaking about winning the prestigious Arco contract, managing director Paul Dransfield said: “PDR are genuinely delighted to have been entrusted to deliver what will be a true landmark building in Hull.
“We have worked very closely with Arco/Wykeland and the project delivery team to ensure none of the stunning features within the design have been diluted, whilst recognising our client’s overall project budget.
“This contract award will mean that PDR will have constructed almost 200,000 sq.ft of office space in Hull over the last 5 years, all of which is now occupied and mostly by Hull based companies.”

Ms Atkinson has joined PDR after 13 years with Clugston Construction, where she was responsible for leading the business development activities for the East of England.
Mr Todd worked within the construction Industry for 30 years, gaining his engineer degree from Sheffield University.
Starting his career as a trainee engineer and working his way through to project manager and contracts manager, Nick latterly held the position of regional manager for Clugston Construction.
PDR Construction was established in 1993 by Paul Dransfield.
