Deal to buy Clive Christian Furniture out of administration saves 66 jobs

A total of 66 jobs have been saved after a supplier of kitchens and furniture was sold out of administration.

Farnworth-based Clive Christian Furniture has been snapped up by º£½ÇÊÓÆµ Interior Manufacturing, which is registered in London.

The sale comes after Julien Irving of Mazars LLP and Christopher Brindle of Campbell Crossley & Davis were appointed as joint administrators of the company on April 8.

The administrators said the business collapsed following a period of "challenging trading conditions, impacted further by the well documented global supply chain issues in the wake of the pandemic and other macro forces".

Mr Irving said: "We are pleased to complete on the successful sale to a new owner of such a noteworthy British brand.

"The company has been adversely impacted by challenging trading conditions.
