Pete Waites, technical director at Crown Paints, said: 鈥淲e are absolutely thrilled for Crown Paints Hull to receive such prestigious industry recognition. A special mention is also needed for our Darwen site for also being named as a finalist. It is, in fact, the eighth year in a row that Crown Paints has been shortlisted for this award.

鈥淚t鈥檚 such a great achievement and reflects all of the hard work that has gone into continuing to make significant progress and improvements across our sites. To have also achieved this during a year that has seen extremely high demand in the industry, as well as covid restrictions, is even more impressive.鈥
