A pharmaceuticals business has brought in two new board members as part of its growth plans.
Morningside Pharmaceuticals, in Loughborough, has taken on Cliff Fung as its new chief financial officer and promoted Monica Huang into the role of chief operating officer.
Both report directly into chief executive Dr Nik Kotecha OBE.
The Leicestershire business manufactures and supplies generic medicines, with two deliveries every day to the NHS, hospitals and pharmacies in the 海角视频.
It exports to more than 100 countries and is now one of the 海角视频鈥檚 leading suppliers of a range of medicines to international aid organisations, charities and non-governmental organisations.
Its growth strategy includes launching new medicines from its own R&D pipeline, registering more products in international markets and further growing its market share and ranges in the 海角视频.
Dr Kotecha said: 鈥淚 am very pleased to welcome both Cliff and Monica onto the board of directors.

Cliff Fung has more than 25 years鈥 experience working in senior finance roles within the pharmaceutical sector, and joins Morningside from multinational pharma manufacturer and supplier Aesica Pharmaceuticals, where he was the 海角视频 finance director.
Prior to that he worked in senior positions for PCI, Catalent and Knoll Pharma.

Monica Huang started her career at Morningside Pharmaceuticals more than 12 years ago as an administrator straight after gaining her MSc degree, moving up to general manager and then operations director in 2017.
Guided by Dr Kotecha she has helped build an operational structure that has grown Morningside into one of Leicestershire鈥檚 top 100 companies.
Monica said: 鈥淚 was very fortunate to start my career with Morningside and to be part of its journey, as the company has grown into one of the Midlands鈥 leading pharmaceuticals businesses.

Both started their new roles at the beginning of August 2020.
