East Yorkshire holiday home manufacturer Victory Leisure Homes has appointed a new sales director as part of its ongoing expansion plans.

John Wigglesworth, who started at the Gilberdyke-based company earlier this month, brings more than 30 years’ experience to his new role.

The move follows a management restructure at the firm in April which saw former managing director Peter Nevitt become chief executive and Gary Corlyon, previously director of operations, promoted to managing director.

In his new position, Mr Wigglesworth will be responsible for domestic sales of holiday homes and lodges.

He said: “Victory is known for making high-quality holiday homes and lodges.

“Now, with significant investment being made in the senior management team, and in expanding the design and manufacturing teams, that quality will be combined with innovation in both design and functionality.

“We are looking to bring holiday homes and lodges right up to date with all the advancements that digital technology has to offer, to create the kind of leisure and holiday experience people dream of.”

Victory has also announced appointments have been made in the design and manufacturing teams, as the company gears up for growth.
