Aston Martin and British Airways are launching a Concorde-themed car on the anniversary of the supersonic passenger liner's last ever flight into Bristol in 2003.

The limited edition DBS Superleggera Concorde Edition has been commissioned by Aston Martin Bristol and will be manufactured by the Aston Martin Q department.

The car has gone on sale today (November 26) for a huge £321,350, and will be manufactured and delivered by October next year.

The Dick Lovett Dealership in Bristol will only be selling the 10 of the specially commissioned vehicles.

The car will have BA's Speedmarque logo as a chrome badge on the fender and a bespoke painted livery in BA colours on the roof strakes.

Each vehicle will also have an inspection plaque jointly signed by Aston Martin’s chief executive Dr Andy Palmer and BA’s chairman Alex Cruz.

Aaron Allnutt, dealer principal at Aston Martin Bristol, said: "The Filton runway sits just opposite from our workshop doors, and we are neighbours with Aerospace, the home of the Bristol Concorde.

"So we are honoured and delighted to showcase this upcoming vehicle as a nod towards the BA Concorde heritage here in Bristol.”
