A CBD brand backed by former England cricketer Andrew Flintoff has acquired a £8m production site in the USA.
Stockport-headquartered Naturecan has added the IAH Oregon facility to its group of companies.
The business said it will now ramp up production of its global supplies of CBD oils, snacks, protein supplements, vitamins and balms as well as supplying CBD for other brands.

Naturecan has 60 staff and is based at St Petersgate in Stockport.
The company was co-founded by CEO Andy Duckworth and Paul Finnegan in 2019 and counts Andrew Flintoff as "one of several high profile investors".
Other celebrities known to have used the company's products include Paddy and Christine McGuiness, Jamie Redknapp and Laura Woods.
Mr Duckworth, who serves as Naturecan's chief executive, said: "This is a very exciting time for Naturecan.

"IAH contains an industrial-scale Centrifugal Partition Chromatography (CPC) technology platform.
"This allows us to produce CBD distillate with ultra low THC (73ppm) which means that the distillate can be used as an ingredient in even the most strict markets around the world.
"The process also recycles solvents, using far less than traditional chromatographic methods.
"This results in a greener and more sustainable solution and minimises the environmental impact.

Mr Duckworth is also the co-founder of e-commerce investor and growth agency eComplete Group and was previously the CEO of THG-owned Myprotein from 2011 to 2018. He has also held positions at Matalan and Pets at Home.
In January, BusinessLive reported that Naturecan is eyeing sales of almost £20m this year. The company reported sales of over £11m for 2022.
