A Birmingham manufacturer of vitamin sweets has secured £9 million in new funding.
The capital will primarily be used to expand Digbeth-based Rem3dy Health’s manufacturing footprint, boost capacity and support its work in regions such as the US and Asia.
Rem3dy Health makes 'Nourished', a range of 3D-printed vegan gummy 'stacks' containing seven different vitamins which are bespoke to each individual customer's needs.
This fresh round of funding includes £500,000 from West Midlands Co-Investment Fund alongside investment from existing and new backers including Asian health group Suntory and French pharmaceutical chain UPSA.
To date, Rem3dy Health has secured a total investment of £19 million, which has funded the construction of three factories, driven international growth and facilitated expansion.

The company was founded in Birmingham in 2019 by US entrepreneur Melissa Snover who was inspired to create the singular gummy stacks after dropping a bag of vitamins onto the floor in Düsseldorf Airport.
She said: "Securing this investment is a significant milestone for Rem3dy Health.
"It's particularly meaningful to have a strong West Midlands investor join us, further cementing our roots in this dynamic region.
"This funding will be crucial as we scale our manufacturing capabilities and expand our reach globally, continuing our mission to provide truly personalised and sustainable health solutions."
West Midlands Co-Investment Fund was launched in 2023 by the combined authority and the West Midlands Pension Fund and is managed by Future Planet Capital Regional.
It offers small and medium companies equity funding of up to £1 million, matched on a one-to-one basis by private investment.
Rupert Lyle, investment director at Future Planet Capital Regional in Birmingham, added: "We have known Melissa for several years and are incredibly impressed by her dedication to the West Midlands.
"Her desire to have a local investor, coupled with the groundbreaking technology Rem3dy Health is developing, made this an unmissable opportunity. We are truly excited by what the company is achieving.
"Not only does it offer a more effective and user-friendly way to consume vitamins but the use of natural, food-derived materials, free from artificial additives, makes their products inherently safer and healthier for consumers."
