HGV trailer manufacturer Don-Bur is on the look out for 100 new staff after seeing a surge in new orders over the last 12 months.

The company currently employs around 450 people across three manufacturing sites in Stoke-on-Trent.

But now the firm is looking for around 100 new recruits to help meet an "unprecedented level of new orders."

The recruitment drive – which includes vacancies for welders, coach builders, sprayers and finishers – comes as a project to expand the Don-Bur manufacturing plant, in Adderley Green, nears completion.

Once complete, the additional land will be used as a storage area to hold stock before it gets delivered to customers.

Marketing manager Richard Owens : "The amount of orders we have got is absolutely crazy at the moment.

"Generally, a lot of companies are struggling for skilled staff, so I think it's really key for the future and prosperity of the business to make sure we can attract the right people.
