Young professionals invited to take in changing face of Nottingham's river bank at summer social event

A date for your diary

Enjoy the view: East Midlands Young Planners (EMYP) is hosting its annual summer social - a social cruise along the River Trent

Nottingham is finally making the most of its proximity to the River Trent when it comes to housing.

Residential schemes are springing up alongside stretches of the waterway.

East Midlands Young Planners (EMYP) is offering an opportunity to glimpse not only the schemes underway but the scenery in general during its annual summer social on Thursday, July 11, 2019.

It has organised a social cruise along the River Trent to allow attendees to take the scenery, including some of the developments that have recently been built or are under construction.

The group, which represents young planners across the East Midlands region and further afield, has 280 members working in planning positions and allied professions.

This year’s event has been sponsored by Roythornes Solicitors and Ramm Sanderson Ecology.

The EMYP aims to bring together planners with up to 10 years postgraduate planning experience via relevant CPD events, social gatherings and networking opportunities across the region.

Membership is a 50:50 split of members between the private and public sectors.
