Payroll giant MHR has released images of a new multi-storey car park it is to build at its Nottinghamshire headquarters as part of a £10 million expansion.

The company wants to eventually boost its workforce to 1,000 with two new offices at Ruddington Fields Business Park to be created in the next few years.

It opened the first of its new offices, Wellington House, which houses the firm's software teams, in 2017 and the new car park is the latest step on its expansion, .

The company, which processes the pay of more than 2.3 million people in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ, has released images of the four-storey structure, which will cost £4.5 million.

The facility will be built on the site of the company's existing ground-level car park and will have space for an extra 190 cars on the site. It will have a solar panel roof which will power internal lighting and charging points for electric vehicles.

MHR says the car park will be based on the appearance of an office, rather than a traditional multi-storey car park and, with ground works already under way, it is due to be ready by next spring.

MHR chairman and founder, John Mills, said: "Despite expanding internationally in the past couple of years with new offices in Ireland, the US and Singapore, we’re extremely proud of our Nottinghamshire roots.

“Our plan to develop our headquarters in Ruddington with investment in new offices and a multi-storey car park underlines our commitment to create a truly great place to work for our employees as we drive forward with our continued growth at phenomenal pace.”
