West Midlands businesses urged to support #BrumKind campaign

New initiative by our sister website BirminghamLive will support local good causes and shine a light on the city's heroes

Businesses across Birmingham and the West Midlands are being asked to support a new campaign which is helping the city's most vulnerable people.

The campaign has been launched by our sister website BirminghamLive and will see help go to those who need it most as the impact of the coronavirus continues to bite.

With rising numbers in isolation and more positive cases swamping our hospitals, our communities need to pull together like never before.

The campaign, called #BrumKind, will help get vital cash aid to communities and charities who need it most through the Birmingham Coronavirus Resilience Fund - launched in partnership with Heart of England Community Foundation.

We now appeal to businesses and individuals who can afford to donate to help.

All money will go directly to community organisations and charities with nothing being spent on management costs.

Our partner Heart of England Community Foundation has made the process of donating money easy and it is very simple to apply for help too.

We have also teamed up with Birmingham Voluntary Services Council (BVSC) and Birmingham City Council to ensure the help already under way is mapped out so nobody falls through the net.
