One of Wales leading consumer brands, Ty Nant, has expanded with its latest acquisition in the premium mineral water market.
Based in Bethania in Ceredigion, Ty Nant has acquired brands Fonthill Water and Decantae Mineral Water from the US beverage giant Primo Water Corporation, which has a multi-billion dollar market capitalisation.
The deal, the value of which hasn’t been disclosed, follows Ty Nant’s acquisition of premium Welsh water and mixer brand, Llanllyr Source, last year.
Decantae Mineral Water, which is sourced from the foothills of Snowdonia, is a leader in the premium bottled water sector in the 海角视频 and Europe. Ty Nant, whose products include its iconic blue and red glass bottled water range, said the acquisition will see it benefiting from Decantae’s packaging innovation, including cuplets.
Fonthill Spring Water has its origins in the historic Fonthill Bishop Estate in Wiltshire owned by Lord Margadale. Ty Nant said its acquisition will not only broadens its geographical footprint, but also introduce it to the water cooler market,

On the outlook for trading in 2025, Mr Sidhu, said: “We are poised for an exciting year continuing the tremendous growth we have experienced for the last four years. We will continue to innovate across our portfolio. We’re introducing aluminium bottles and cans as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional packaging and refreshing the ‘contemporary classical’ look for Llanllyr Source.
"Moreover, we’re set to launch new flavours from our award-winning Kings Hill small-batch gin distillery in the Pentland Hills, Edinburgh, and we are expanding into 10 new export markets.
