These are the Welsh companies with the fastest-growing sales

The four companies feature on  the annual Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 league table

Four companies, with headquarters in Wales, have been named among the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ companies with the fastest-growing sales.

The four companies, which was an improvement on last year’s three, have been listed on the annual Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 league table.

The companies, which are headquartered in Wales, have grown sales by an average of 84% a year over three years to a total of £134m, and together they employ 309 people.

The region’s top ranked company is Cardiff-based digital printing firm Prodigi Group, which is a new entrant on the league table and is ranked No. 14 nationally.

It has built software which connects digital images captured on a user’s device to one of 50 printing labs around the world. Clients include professional photographers and the National History Museum. Sales over the past three years have grown by an average of 124% pa to £17.9m this year.

Another new entrant is CP Hire, which rents construction machinery such as excavators and dumper trucks, and offers consulting and data collection services on projects. Based in Cardiff, its sales rose by 65% per year over three years to £12.7m this year.

Aerfin supports aircraft operators and lessors globally providing a range of services, including leasing contracts, technical consulting, as well as trading and supplying equipment from entire aircraft through to components and engines.

The Caerphilly-based firm was 36th on this year’s list, while last year it was eighth and the previous year was first. This year the company opened a new aircraft parts storage and distribution centre in Atlanta as it looks to expand its US presence. Aerfins annual sales grew by 77% over the past three years.
