Warwickshire County Cricket Club has extended its commercial deal with Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care.

The club will work with the Birmingham-based optician for another five years, with Scrivens acting as Warwickshire's lead partner for first class and list A cricket.

It will have lead branding on the front of Warwickshire's County Championship and Royal London Cup shirts until at least the end of the 2024 season.

Scrivens will also continue to have naming rights and branding on the old Press Box Stand and on the sleeve of the Bears new Vitality Blast shirt.

The family-owned optician, which was founded in the city in 1938, has been working with Warwickshire CCC since 2013 and became its first class cricket shirt partner in 2015, before expanding the agreement further to now become the lead Warwickshire partner.

Nicholas Georgevic, chief executive of Scrivens, said: "We are delighted to be continuing our sponsorship (and) thrilled that, as sponsor of the county team shirt, we will get to see some play this year.

"We are living in exceptional times and recognise the vital role sport has on our physical health and mental wellbeing.
