Vodafone to expand in Stoke-on-Trent with major recruitment drive for 300 new sales staff

Communications giant Vodafone has launched a major recruitment drive which will see hundreds of new jobs created in Stoke-on-Trent.

The company is on the look out for 300 new staff for its purpose-built contact centre, based on Festival Park, as part of a wider expansion plan.

Vodafone wants to turn its Stoke-on-Trent base into a 'customer centre of sales excellence' which will offer the "very latest" in training facilities for its customer service and retail staff.

Now it wants to boost its workforce over the next 12 months with an additional 300 sales staff.

Current vacancies include full-time customer relations advisor roles, desk-based account managers, full-time web chat sales advisors and part-time inbound sales advisors.

The new jobs will take Vodafone's total Stoke-on-Trent workforce to more than 900.
