Veincentre targets º£½ÇÊÓƵ roll-out with seven-figure refinance

The company wants to expand its number of clinics by another three in 2020

Dr David West and his wife Deborah founded Veincentre in 2003

Varicose veins specialist Veincentre is targeting further growth after securing a seven-figure refinance deal from banking-giant Santander.

Trent Vale-based Veincentre specialises in non-invasive, non-surgical treatment for varicose veins.

In the last 12 months, the company has opened two new clinics, in Glasgow and Leeds – taking its portfolio of sites to nine.

Now the company wants to expand its number of clinics even further with plans to open three new sites in 2020 – including a clinic in Liverpool.

It is also looking to invest in a digital transformation project which includes the development of a new website and digital marketing strategy as part of its plans for growth.

Veincentre founder and medical director, Dr David West, said: “Our ambition is to provide an affordable service to as many patients as possible, and a key part of this is making sure we have a presence in each of the º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s major cities and regions.

"This additional funding will facilitate further expansion.”
