A Solihull make-up artist and university lecturer has won three national awards.
Gemma Richmond was crowned national professional make-up artist, best professional bridal make-up artist and fantasy make-up artist, for a Game of Thrones style design (below and main pic), at the National Make-up Awards, part of the Beauty 海角视频 Show at the NEC.
She was battling against more than 50 entries from across the country the event which was attended by Doctor Who special effects make-up artist Neill Gorton and Coronation Street make-up artist Elizabeth Armistead among others.

As part of the prize package, she will have the opportunity to work on a celebrity red carpet event with cosmetic company Artdeco.
Ms Richmond told the Post: "There were three competition categories - fantasy, bridal and glamour - and I had two models to create each different make-up look.
"It was a really hot day and I had minimal working area as there were so many other competitors.
"I was so happy when they announced that I had won and I'm pleased my hard work paid off.
"It was such a high profile competition and the judging panel included some highly regarded industry professionals so to have won these awards means a great deal to me."

She is also a theatrical and media make-up lecturer at University College Birmingham and said she was always encouraging students to enter competitions.
"It has given me an insight into the pressures and time-management involved in competing, and sharing my experience will hopefully help prepare students for future success," Ms Richmond added.
