Twin brothers from Northumberland are launching a digital platform to help businesses and employees tackle issues relating to mental health.

Duncan and Guy Robertson have launched Dittolo to provide organisations with insights so they can actively track, manage and mitigate the impact of mental health in the business.

Based in Northumberland, the pair – who have both overcome their own personal issues related to mental health – are on a mission to remove poor mental health as an influence on organisational performance and employee happiness.

Dittolo aims to connect employees who have had similar life experiences and provides actionable insights that allow organisations to give more proactive and preventative support.

Eventually, the platform aims to connect employees with a global community of shared lived experiences, with its founders wanting it to become recognised as the go-to platform for individuals seeking support, giving them resources and tools to build their development plans in a trusted environment.

Guy, who has spent his career in change management, said: “In all my years of change management, we were always confined within the limits of business economics.

“This meant focussing on things like situational leadership to drive engagement, empowering employees to be more involved in influencing change, aligning teams with the brand, the vision & the mission. Covid and the ensuing economic impact means individuals are facing into immense personal pressure.
