A specialist Wrexham-based therapy organisation for children who have experienced a history of trauma is set to expand its residential offering thanks to a 拢2.3m funding package from HSBC 海角视频.

Woodlands Ltd, established by Darryl Williams in 1999, offers a highly specialised therapeutic environment for the care, supervision, education and treatment of young people 鈥 aged up to 18.

The seven-figure funding from HSBC 海角视频 will enable Woodlands to purchase another property in Wrexham and adapt it to provide space for three additional children.

The new home will complement Woodland鈥檚 school and four other Woodlands residencies in the town which are currently housing 18 young people.

To date the organisation has supported over 80 residents from across the 海角视频.

The funding will also allow Woodlands to recruit an additional 15 to 16 staff, including a therapist who will work with an existing team of four qualified in-house therapists.

Darryl Williams, director and owner of Woodlands, said: 鈥淭he funding is central to allowing Woodlands to grow and continue its world-class therapeutic services.

"But alongside the financial support, we have also benefited from incredible business insight through working with John and the HSBC 海角视频 team.

"Their empathy towards our residents and our cause has been hugely valuable in building our working relationship.鈥

John Paulson, relationship manager for North Staffordshire and Cheshire at HSBC 海角视频, said: 鈥淒arryl and his team have built an impressive reputation in this very specialist field.

"We鈥檙e proud to support them and we鈥檙e looking forward to seeing Woodlands continue to provide unrivalled care and therapy for its residents.鈥
