A Staffordshire training provider has helped than 60 young people secure placements as part of the Government’s Kickstart scheme.
Since January, The Inspirational Learning Group (TILG) has placed a total of 69 youngsters – aged between 16 and 24 – into roles at businesses across Staffordshire, including accounts assistants and chefs, video editors and teaching assistants.
The Stafford company – which is an approved gateway organisation for the Kickstart scheme – has worked with a range of employers to offer placements for motivated young people who are taking their first steps in their careers.
TILG co-founder Michael Dyer said: "Over the last eight years, over 350,000 young people across the 海角视频 have engaged with our challenges and when we heard about the Kickstart scheme, we knew that it was something that we wanted to be involved in. We care passionately about giving young people the opportunities that they deserve, and we felt that the scheme aligned perfectly to our individual and company values.
"We believe that the Kickstart placements should act as a springboard for young people, assisting them to develop key skills in a supportive environment."
He added: "Alongside placing young people into their roles, we have also developed a suite of employability training resources which are available to all young people through our online platform.
"We focus on developing the key soft skills that young people need to succeed in the world of work; as well as providing them with the resources to build their own personal brand and to look towards their future opportunities.
"It's a real pleasure to be involved in the scheme; knowing that a company has placed a young person in a role is a real highlight of our day."

Popular hospitality business The Quarter – which has two sites in Hanley and Stoke – is among the local businesses taking part in the scheme.
Gareth Ridge, manager at The Quarter @ Potbank, said: "We were really keen to get involved with the Kickstart scheme and to use a local gateway to identify talent and offer roles to young people in our area.
"We have been able to take on eight young people who are now settled in well to their roles and are real assets to the team.
"We've been thrilled with the calibre of young people and the support provided by The Inspirational Learning Group as our Kickstart gateway."
Minister for Employment, Mims Davies MP has commended TILG for its work on the Kickstart scheme.
She said: "It's fantastic to hear that The Inspirational Learning Group has offered over 60 young people a vital opportunity through the Kickstart scheme to gain experience across Staffordshire and beyond in a range of industries – boosting their long-term prospects.
