National Enterprise Challenge co-founder Mike Dyer said: "We are really looking forward to having Nick as our ambassador.

"His appointment – and the two great challenges set by Grenade and Air Products – will give the contest a different dynamic and we can’t wait to see all the great ideas that the students have come up with."

Nick added: "I am delighted to become an ambassador for The National Enterprise Challenge for this academic year. Developing young people’s enterprise skills is vitally important for the º£½ÇÊÓƵ economy so it’s great to be involved in a competition which helps to do this.

"I am looking forward to seeing the finalists’ ideas in July."
