A media buying agency has launched a new office in Birmingham city centre.

Total Media Connect has opened the office in Arca, Temple Row, relocating from its previous base in Tanworth in Arden.

The move follows a recent deal which saw its London-based parent company Total Media Group merge with independent European media agency Mediaplus.

Total Media Connect said the move into the city centre enabled the agency to extend opportunities in media planning and buying to a much broader talent pool, adding that it believed in Birmingham as an economic hub.

It also supports the company's aim of becoming a focal point for the media industry in Birmingham, extending the Total Media Group offering across the Midlands.

Penny Took, chief executive of Total Media Connect, said: "Moving to central Birmingham will mean that we can really reap the rewards of being situated in one of the º£½ÇÊÓƵ's most diverse cities.

"Greater transport links mean our current employees can access the newly designed office space with ease in comparison to our previous location, offering flexibility and connectivity.
