The role of a North West company helping to organise all the travel arrangements for 700 international Olympic officials from 30 different countries for the Games has been revealed.

Review Travel, which has offices in Handforth and Manchester, a corporate travel management company and works with organisations to reduce the cost and complexity of business travel.

Led by chief executive and majority shareholder Christian Gleave, the company has also worked with the likes of Typhoo, Loomis and Serena Software.

Mr Gleave said: "Sometimes you just have to take a chance, have blind faith and roll with the Covid pandemic punches.

"We are with our clients every step of the way providing support and guidance and at the end of the day our priority has been keeping the client updated so they can reach an informed decision and to keep them and their employees safe.

"If the event was cancelled our team would simply undertake all the cancellations, refunds, amendments that come with it whilst acting in the best interests of the client to minimise any financial effects.

The Review Travel team’s biggest logistical issue has been the cancellation of flights due to lack of capacity.
