The Stoke-on-Trent brewery is opening its sixth bod cafe bar just after Easter

Brewery giant Titanic Brewery is expanding again, with the opening of a new site in Staffordshire.

The company opened its first bod cafe bar in Stafford in 2018 and, due to its popularity, has gone on to open a further four sites at Stoke Station, Trentham, Newport and Matlock.

Now Titanic Brewery has revealed that it is preparing to open its sixth bod in Stone in April.

The new cafe bar will open inside the building which used to house The Lounge on High Street.

It will be the brewery's second site in Stone, as it already runs The Royal Exchange pub in Radford Street, which it opened in 2008.

Niamh Durkin, marketing assistant at Titanic Brewery, said: "Stone will be the sixth bod in our family and the opening is fast approaching.

"The contractors moved from Matlock to Stone to start around four of five weeks of work, with the aim of us opening just after Easter.

"The idea behind bod was to create a place to enjoy great coffee, great beer, and great food. This concept has allowed us to trade differently, opening in the morning for coffee and breakfast and staying open into the evening to operate as a bar. We wanted to be able to offer something to all age groups and keep the community at the centre of our operation."
