Model and publican Jodie Kidd hit the headlines after calling on Chancellor Rishi Sunak to help out Covid-hit pubs in his budget on March 3.
Jodie, who owns The Half Moon pub in Kirdford, West Sussex, wants him to cut beer duty, a tax that she says pubs that have been crippled by repeated closures and restrictions cannot afford to pay.
She was forced to close her pub for the third time during the most recent lockdown and said that even when pubs were able to open, her small village pub struggled to make a profit while it was operating at limited capacity to meet social distancing guidelines.
Jodie isn't the only celeb landlord who knows what publicans are facing right now.

Neil Morrissey: The Plume of Feathers, Barlaston and The Old Bramshall Inn near Uttoxeter
The Men Behaving Badly star has these two traditional pubs in Staffordshire under his Neil Morrissey Pub Company.
The Plume of Feathers opened in 2015 followed by the where punters sup pints of Morrissey Blonde ale and the Old Bramshall Inn bitter.
Neil said at the opening of the Old Bramshall: “The pub ticked all the boxes. We’d been looking at it for a number of years so as soon as it became available a couple of months ago we leapt at it and made the deal.
“It’s simple really: people want a congenial atmosphere, that’s clean and consistent. They also want a great range of ales, and we have six – including two of our own."
Jade Thirlwall: Arbeia, South Shields
Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall's South Shields bar opened in 2019 but the Covid-19 pandemic saw it close temporarily just a year later.

The night spot renamed by Thirlwall from Red Door to Arbeia, like the neaerby Roman hill fort announced it had shut its doors until further notice stating it is "no longer possible" to continue operating when the North East faced tough tier restrictions.
The Ocean Road bar originally opened as in the centre of Jade's home town, having collaborated with the leisure operators responsible for bars of the same name in the North West.

Gareth Bale: Elevens Bar and Bar 59, Cardiff
The latest venture for footballer Gareth Bale is set to open this year.
Par 59, a new bar, restaurant and mini-golf venue, was meant to open in Cardiff city centre this summer.
However the opening has now been moved to early 2021 as a result of Covid-19.
The venue, which is being developed by the team behind city centre's permanent, indoor street food market The Depot, is looking to tap into a growing market of combining pubs with social sports that has seen a rapid growth in recent years.
When Par 59 opens it will mark a second step into the hospitality sector for the footballer, following on from his partnership with Brains Brewery and the opening of in 2017.
The bar is known for its sporting memorabilia from the world of football, rugby, basketball and golf and has enough TV screens for everyone to watch the sporting action.
Barry Horne: The Fat Boar, Mold
Former Everton and Wales midfielder Barry Horne teamed up with Wrexham FC chief executive Don Bircham to create The Fat Boar in Mold in 2015.
The pair invested £500,000 in the venture with Rich Watkin, transforming the former Boar’s Head in Mold which had been empty for a number of years.
It was just the start of a portfolio in hospitality for Horne, who played for Wrexham, Everton, and Wales.
Their second pub, The Fat Boar in Wrexham opened in 2016 and Horne went on to invest in Lot 11 Express, a Mold cafe which had a £200,000 extension in 2019.
Stuart Broad and Harry Gurney: Tap & Run, Upper Broughton and The Three Crowns at Wymeswold
The England and Nottingshamshire cricketers opened the The Tap and Run in 2018 after a £350,000 renovation project. It is the second in their Cat and Wickets Pub Company, following The Three Crowns.
As lockdown one hit, the pub was converted into a village shop serving pre-prepared meals for stay-at-home customers.
In normal times, The Tap and Run, which was is an eating-out pub with different dining areas - including the botanical-themed garden room.
But it will be 'long road ahead' on June 11, 2022.
Ed Sheeran: Bertie Blossoms, London
The millionaire musician opened his pub Bertie Blossoms, based in Notting Hill, London in October 2019, and when it was forced to close during the first coronavirus lockdown last year he from his own picket.
The name is said to be in tribute to his wife Cherry Seaborn – with his business partner Stuart Camp getting in on the act too by paying tribute to his girlfriend Liberty Shaw.
Bertie is a nickname for Liberty, while the second word relates to cherry blossoms for his wife Cherry.
The hitmaker also has a pub in the grounds of his Suffolk estate called The Lancaster Lock.
Guy Ritchie: Lore of the Land, London
Guy Ritchie's Lore of the Land pub in Fitzrovia opened in January last year - the second venture as a landlord for the ex- Mr Madonna and Lock Stock director.
With David Beckham, he also owns the hip drinking haunt Walmer Castle in Notting Hill.
Both serve beverages made by his very own , which can also bve bought direct from the brewery's own website.
The facility is on the site of the historic Ashcombe House, now known as Ashgrove Farm and owned by Ritchie, who purchased it with ex-wife Madonna and was given the estate as part of a divorce settlement.
Sir Ian McKellan: The Grapes, London
The 500 year-old The Grapes – originally The Bunch of Grapes – was co-bought by the Lord of the Rings actor in 2011.
Written about by Charles Dickens in his novel “Our Mutual Friend”, he describes the tavern as a “A tavern of dropsical appearance… long settled down into a state of hale infirmity.
Other popular writers have been fascinated by Limehouse, says Sir Ian on the pub's website: "Oscar Wilde in “Dorian Gray”; Arthur Conan Doyle, who sent Sherlock Holmes in search of opium provided by the local Chinese immigrants; more recently Peter Ackroyd in “Dan Leno and the Limehouse Golem”.
The actor is known to host a pub quiz or two and while the establishment is currently closed due to Covid-19, together with fellow leaseholders and staff, he writes on the website that he is looking forward to welcoming customers in happier times.
