A telecommunications specialist has enjoyed a record start to the year after achieving an increase in sales and securing several new partnerships.

Invictus Communications, based in Castle Donington, has reported clinching£400,000 worth of new business in recent weeks, including deals with John Pye Serviced Offices, which provides serviced offices for more than 25 businesses in Nottingham, Kiddi Caru children’s day nursery group and recruitment and managed services specialists AM2PM.

Invictus provides a range of telecommunications services, including telephony hosted in the cloud, leased lines, business mobiles linked to the telephony system via an app and energy services.

The initial contract with John Pye is to supply telephones at its new John Pye Serviced Offices at a business centre next to John Pye’s auction house in Nottingham and then roll-out a new telephony system across the company’s nationwide sites, comprising nearly one million square feet of facilities.

At the same time as winning new deals, the company has also been growing its network of referral partners, joining the East Midlands Networking Group and working with IT specialists Infuse Technology.

It has also entered into sponsorship agreements with the Derbyshire Live Business Awards, Derbyshire Institute of Sport and Melbourne Dynamos FC.

Jonny McPhee, managing director at Invictus, said: “Our ethos is to ‘buy local, sell local and support local’ so it is important to us that we expand all these areas.
