Staffordshire IT firm SyTech has won a new contract with Keele Universtiy to provide high-speed secure WiFi services to the new Denise Coates Foundation Building.

The multi-million pound facility, located at Keele University's Science and Innovation Park, will house both Keele Business School and a new state-of-the-art Smart Innovation hub.

And now the building - which is due to be completed in September - will also boast secure, high-speed WiFi connectivity thanks to 'cutting-edge' technology from Keele-based SyTech.

Chris Nelson, SyTech's marketing manager, said: “We are excited to be working with Keele on the new Denise Coates Foundation Building. Their commitment to providing a secure wireless environment for businesses strongly aligns with our passion for cyber security.

"We have been a resident on the campus ourselves for the last four years and have seen the opportunities and connections the campus can provide for businesses, especially those in the fin-tech and medical fields."

The Smart Innovation Hub will provide rentable office accommodation to support the creation and growth of innovation-led businesses.

It has been funded by the university, the European Regional Development Fund, the Midlands Engine and Staffordshire County Council with support from the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire LEP.
