Swansea headquartered Equal Education Partners has launched a new global education technology (edtech) recruitment division while also confirming it is opening a new office in the US.
EQL Edtech will provide tailored recruitment solutions to edtech companies across North America, Asia, Europe, and beyond, including online schools, alternative education providers, and mission-driven school networks.
As part of its international growth strategy, Equal has also announced plans to open its first US headquarters in Austin, Texas in June. Austin has one of the fastest growing edtech and innovation hubs in America.
Lanelli-born Liam Rahman, the founder of Equal Education Partners, said:“We’re incredibly excited to launch EQL Edtech. Having spent time immersed in the Silicon Valley edtech ecosystem at Stanford, I’ve seen first-hand the scale of opportunity and the transformative impact that education technology can have on learners globally.
“However, keeping a strong presence in Wales will always be core to our approach at Equal and we are also thrilled to be opening our US base in Austin later this year, which marks an exciting new chapter for the business.”
