Super League club Salford Red Devils have appointed a new commercial director who has previously worked at Premier League sides Aston Villa and West Brom.
George Harborne has taken on the role after serving as a senior manager at international sports marketing agency Sportfive since April 2019.
Prior to that role, Mr Harborne worked at Aston Villa, rising to h ead of partner acquisition and partnership services, and at West Brom where he was head of partnerships and interim head of sales.
Mr Harborne has also worked for Derby County and menswear brand Luke1977.
He said: "I am very excited to have taken on this opportunity at Salford Red Devils.
