New online wine shop Wine&Something taking on big boys such as Laithwaite’s, Virgin and Naked

Creative agency Fluid Ideas has helped with the branding, website, content and even the name of the new shop

A new online wine shop has been launched with creative backing from a Derbyshire agency.

Fluid Ideas has helped with the branding, website, content and even the name of Wine&Something – recently launched by chief executive Dale Agar and wine director Rob Edwards.

The Surrey-based wine business – which wants to offer a more personal service to the big online retailers – is aimed at the 35-50 age group and currently has 260 wines from 12 countries on its site.

All the wines have been tasted and chosen by master of wine Robin Kick, with 85 per cent of its range exclusive within the º£½ÇÊÓƵ market.

They are sourced from independent, family-run, artisan vineyards and include vegan, vegetarian and organic wines.

The business offers 24-hour delivery, with a minimum order of six bottles.

As part of its remit, the 12-strong team at Fluid Ideas provided graphic design, animation, photography, videos, social media and advertising campaigns to help with the launch.

Further projects are underway as Wine&Something aims to compete with bigger rivals such as Naked Wines, Virgin Wines, The Wine Society and Laithwaite’s Wine.
