A North Staffordshire recruitment company is ‘busier than ever’ with more than 100 vacancies on its books – despite the pandemic.

Blink Recruitment, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, has had an influx of enquiries over the past few months meaning it is now looking to fill around 100 roles across all business sectors.

Current vacancies include import and export clerks, gas installation engineers, fork lift truck drivers, welders, fabricators, CAD designers, CNC machine operators and more.

Now managing director Daniel Rodziewicz wants to reassure people who lost their jobs during the pandemic that there are plenty of jobs available with companies in Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire as well as South Cheshire and the wider Midlands region.

Daniel said: “There’s a noticeable upturn in jobs available as companies look to move forward following the pandemic. It also appears that there’s some roles created by Brexit border changes, such as import and export clerks.”

He added: “There’s a demand from many companies to come out of the pandemic with a bang and they are already moving forward and recruiting.

“Many people have lost their jobs over the last 12 months and a proportion of these people may have to retrain and take on new roles, but we are determined to support them and point them towards the roles that are out there.”
