A couple who have always dreamed of working together have launched a new home interiors business.
Sophie Attwood and Daniel Lewis, from Eccleshall, have set up Husoe Home after seeing more and more families turn to home improvement projects during the lockdown.
The new business offers a wide range of contemporary, stylish furniture and 鈥榦n-trend鈥 home accessories for people who are passionate about their homes.
And after just two weeks, it is already enjoying significant sales success.
Sophie, who is a PR consultant specialising in the medical aesthetics industry, said: 鈥淲e have always wanted to set up a company where we worked together and where we could pull together our varying skills to build something special.
鈥淒aniel is very good at logistics whereas I鈥檝e been able to draw on my marketing and PR background to quickly drive traffic to the website and social platforms.
鈥淲e saw that everyone was at home and spending time tweaking their home interior and thought that it would be a great time to get things moving.鈥

Daniel, who has moved away from his role as a recruitment consultant to focus on the couple鈥檚 new venture, added: 鈥淟ockdown has offered us a real opportunity to work on what has been a passion project.
"It鈥檚 been late nights after our daughter goes to sleep, a lot of coffee and great teamwork to pull things together while juggling family life and Sophie鈥檚 PR work.鈥
The company now plans to continue to build on its existing marketing strategy and link-up with other suppliers to offer its customers a wider choice for their home.
