A South West-based independent recycling and waste management company has been acquired by SUEZ recycling and recovery 海角视频.
Devon Contract Waste (DCW), which has its headquarters in Exeter, provides recycling and waste management services to its commercial base across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. The firm was founded in 1989 by Simon Almond; it's staff, fleet of 37 trucks operating out of three depots, plus its transfer and sorting operation in Exeter will transfer to SUEZ.
The Berkshire-based recycling firm, which employs over 6,000 people, operating across over 300 sites, said the acquisition will expand its offer in the South West with recycling solutions for food waste, glass, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and confidential waste solutions.
Mr Almond and his leadership team will work with SUEZ over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition for both staff and customers.

DCW Polymers will continue to operate as a separate business run by the Almond family and based at the Enviro Hub, Marsh Barton, Exeter. Offering specialist plastic recycling services, DCW Polymers will continue to make and develop its range of recycled plastic products.
