A wholesaler of vaping and cannabis oil is looking for 30 new staff after moving to bigger premises.

Management at JM Wholesale say the business has trebled in size over the last year as it has grown exports to 170 markets around the world.

The four-year-old business is now moving from its original Leicester city centre base to a 50,000 sq ft premises in Whetstone, on the city’s edge.

The new site will include offices and warehouses, as well as a clean room, production facilities, a showroom and a conference room, following a six-figure fit-out.

The business is looking for 30 new staff to add to its current 43-strong workforce, in positions ranging from management to packing and administration.

JM Wholesale supplies cannabidiol products including food, drinks and skincare items as well as vaping liquids, kits and chargers from a variety of brands.

Chief executive Logie Rajan said the new premises will give space for future growth for another decade.

He said: “This move reflects our rapid expansion and our growth to take our position as one of the most prominent wholesalers in our industry.
