FSB networking and business support event takes place for Midlands SMEs in Hinckley on July 1

It will help independents improve their online and offline presence, attract new clients and build their support network

FSB business event

Self-employed workers and owners of small businesses and self-employed people from across the Midlands are being given a chance to get together to grow their business profiles.

(FSB) is hosting a region-wide event in Hinckley, Leicestershire on Monday, July 1, to help independents improve their online and offline presence, attract new clients and develop a broader support network.

Attendees will take part in a LinkedIn masterclass, speed networking and coaching and will learn how to connect with their clients online and in the local area.

Jennifer Thomas, FSB development manager for Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland

Speakers include Sandra Garlick, founder of the Woman Who network, business growth advisor Ed Cooper of ActionCOACH, Sally Smith of Leicester-based media specialists Cross Productions, and Amanda Bourne of FaB networking.

said: “Running a business and always being head-down, busy with the day job, can make it difficult to spend time getting out and developing your profile, getting to know who’s out there who can help you.

“We’ve pulled this one-off event together with talks which have proven valuable at other FSB events, so that in one morning business owners from across the Midlands can come together to reach a new client base and some critical business friends with only one morning out.

“We expect it to be fun and friendly, but productive at the same time.

“We aim to help business owners to start the week, the month and summer right by spending a Monday morning on themselves.
